One of the ways of doing this is to make sure the website is designed in a way that makes sure that young people using different types of web browsers can use the site. For example blind or partially sighted young people use speech-based browsers where content from a website is read out to them.
The Royal National Institute for the Blind's (RNIB) "See It Right" campaign encourages web designers to create sites that are accessible to everyone.
Young Scot has designed this website using these world standard accessible website guidelines, so that all young people throughout Scotland have an opportunity to access the information and services provided by Young Scot online.
The site currently meets the UK Gov WC3 WAI Single A standard.
